A couple more vases done. A couple ready for resin. I apply resin when they are dry to seal so they are completely water proof. Love how they are all so unique. Can't wait to fill with beautiful blooms.

Why do Flower farmers think their flowers are so special,
#1 They start them from that tiny seed
#2 They care and fuss over them until they germinate
#3 They watch over them daily to make sure they are watered and not wet, warm but not to hot.
#4 When they get roots and small sets of leaves they take them in and out of greenhouse daily to get them use to the Sun and wind.
#5 When they are strong enough to go out into to field they are transplanted by hand into the ground.
#6 They are watered and checked closely to make sure they are adjusting to their new home. Making sure that no pest or critters are trying to eat them.
#7 When they start to settle in and get their roots into the soil, they are fertilized and watched closely to make sure they are adjusting well.
#8 When they start getting buds, they are watched to see the proper time to harvest them.
#9 When the bloom is just to the right stage (plants have different harvest times) they are harvested, placed in water, conditioned and allowed to hydrate.
#10 When they are fully hydrated, they will be placed into beautiful bouquets with their friends, ready to go to market.
#11 They are sold to their new caretakers, who will change water every 2 days and trim stems to make sure they can drink freely, keeping them out of direct sunlight and are happy.
#12 When they have brought joy to their new family and are getting a little tired from their long life, they can be hung in a cool dry area to dry and become a beautiful Wreath, a everlasting bouquet or maybe a candle.
So short story long this is why Flower Farmers think their flowers are special.

We are taking dates for 2025 Weddings. We offer designs of bouquets, headpieces and table decorations, we also offer DIY buckets of blooms. We schedule a day a week or two before the event for the Bridal Party to come out to the farm and see what is in bloom and plan for their very special fairy tale day. The last Napa cabbage of the season, chicken taco salad tonight. We are still harvesting turnips, makes great hash browns (healthy) and mashed turnips. If you are not growing a garden, consider starting so much better for your health and saves on the grocery bill. We have freezers full of tomatoes, peppers and onions ready to make salsa and pasta sauce this winter. If you would like to have more info on some varieties we have found that grows great in our area and soil, send me a message I would be happy to share.
