Today's lesson in the greenhouse: When you're deadheading petunias, make sure you remove the "star" along with the bloom! This stops seed production and will create more blooming!!

A gentle reminder that Mother Nature is not a force to be reckoned with...found this paper in the pasture this evening while we were checking cows. In the back of the pasture, not near any roads (or really civilization at all), so I'm sure it rode in out of the atmosphere during the storms this weekend. Several familiar names on it from the Mt. Ayr/surrounding area. If only it could talk, what a story it could tell!

I've been busy in the framing shop! Puzzles, diamond dots, a couple acrylic paintings, and a few in antique frames that just need cleaned up. Next up are 3 needlework pieces originally intended as chair seats...stay tuned for these!!
