I’ve taken the week before Christmas to clean my basement. I finished this week cleaning my 30+ seed trays, and have reconfigured my space for ease of access to all my supplies. Plus, I hung all my dried flowers up and out of the way. I feel such excitement for the spring season to be here, so I can plants all my lovely seedlings into their new soil homes. I also can’t wait to meet a lot of new wonderful customers in my neck of the woods!!!

I recently had the opportunity to make a casket spray for a funeral, a friend from church whose father has passed. He lived a long productive life. I like to think of funerals more of a celebration of a life well lived. The funeral was well attended by those who lived in his community. The casket spray contains a mix of Black-eyed Susans, yellow zinnias, bright lights cosmos, mahogany splendor, dark pink celosia, dark pink snapdragons, and white daisy like feverfew.

Good morning flower lovers. Summer might seem over, but my flower field didn’t get the notice. We have so many beautiful blooms ready for the picking. Come on down to the Casey Jones Pavilion in Elizabeth today from 9-2 and pick a mixed bunch for $8 or a mixed vase arrangement for $15.

Friday, September 2nd I will be in Hugo for flower sales. I am bringing two buckets of flower bunches priced at $8. The bunches are made of snapdragons, asters, black eyed Susan, fever few, celosia, gomphrena, and bachelor buttons. The address is 717 8th Ave, Hugo. I will be there from 9-12:30. Last Friday I was able to make this baby shower centerpiece for my friends in Strasburg. Mostly pink flowers with a touch of green in a crystal container. Thank you to all my friends who support me in my endeavors.

We have an abundance of flowers ready for your enjoyment. There are snapdragons in every shade, black eyed susans, statice, gomphrena, celosia, and mahogany splendor. Snaps are 10 stems for 7 dollars, black eyed susans are 10 stems for 5 dollars, or do a mix of what you like 20 stems for 15 dollars arranged in a mason jar. PM with your order.
