When I’m designing- I do more than just place stems in a unique and aesthetically pleasing manner…I get creative, use my energy, and …sometimes sing quietly in my head (or aloud but only when no one is around…lol).
Here’s a song I wrote to dedicate to the florist in my floral support groups (yes that is a thing!). 
As a florists- we do pour our soul into our work.
