Customer notice

Please see below. My husband had a cardiac event early this morning. He is resting at the hospital and I am with him. He should be discharged in the next day or two but like him, I will be out of pocket until at least that time.
Thanks to my truly fantastic crew (which are more like family!) any scheduled events for Friday and Saturday will be fulfilled as promised but responses to emails, texts and calls will be delayed. I appreciate everyone’s patience and will be in touch as soon as possible.

Ribbon cutting ceremony in Columbia County tonight for a new law firm was fantastic! Food, florals and bar service provided by us. Cookies were from another baker in the Augusta area and they were delicious!

It was a beautiful weekend for a wedding and first birthday party!
Unfortunately, we were so busy coordinating the wedding we have no pictures of it but trust me…it was fantastic!😳 We do have a few pics from a fabulous “Rookie Year” first birthday that we were so happy to help with! Cakes, cookies and a little assistance on the backdrop wall were provided by La Vita Bella.

We ended our busy Saturday with a wonderful wedding celebration! I can’t say enough good things about this couple and their families. We loved serving you and wish you nothing but happiness in the future!
For this one we provided: Fully plated and served meals including herb crusted beef tenderloin, garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans; fresh bread bowls; salad with house made dressings; delicious grazing table; bar set up; the gorgeous florals for their arbor that was lovingly built by a family member; and, of course, a delicious cake!
Thank you Erin and Edward for letting us be part of your special day!

Simply stunning vow renewal cake! This was a first using a buttercream hand-painting technique and was so much fun to create! Topper was made in house as well. This cake had a top tier in wedding cake flavor (almond sour cream cake), second tier was loaded carrot cake, and the entire thing frosted in a cream cheese buttercream. Table settings (linens, plates, glassware and flatware) were also provided by us.

We were thrilled to work with Board in Aiken on this delicious table! We have a fantastic group of vendors in our area and we love collaborating and learning from each other. Board provided the beautiful charcuterie and we provided the rest - sandwiches (smoked chicken salad, roast beef with provolone and ham with Brie); jumbo shrimp cocktail; salads with house made lemon basil vinaigrette and ranch; chicken and waffles skewers; a GORGEOUS chocolate cake; mimosa bar; and balloon columns.

Open letter to families with upcoming weddings:

After a disaster like we are experiencing in the CSRA, please consider and extend grace to your vendors. We all know how much love, time and money you have invested into your dream and to see that in jeopardy is gut wrenching. Your chosen vendors share your pain, although in a different way.

We’ve developed relationships with you and no one wants to miss out on your day (both for your sake and the sake of the income we will need now more than ever). It’s more than just if a venue is open or a vendor can get there. It’s our teams. Beyond power, water, structural damage and the ability to get to the event, each of these business owners has a family of their own in addition to caring about the safely of those on our teams.
* Your caterers need food, a safe place to store and prepare it and a team able to assist.
* Your florists need water and cool air just to keep those flowers alive.
* Your DJ needs the Internet to download your songs and notes.
* Your bakers need food and the electricity to bake and decorate your desserts.
* Your photographers need power to charge their batteries and power/internet to edit their work.

And the list goes on. It’s all about grace, sweet brides and families. We desperately want to be here for you. Your guests want to come and share your day with you. May these days be the worst days of the amazing life ahead of you.

Day 6 - no power or water…BUT there is light at the end of the tunnel! Most all of our neighbors had their power restored last night! Unfortunately, we had a utility pole that split in half in our yard so our repairs will take a little longer. Praying for today and once again SO grateful for all of the workers out there doing all they can to get us back up and running!
