Sorry fellow drone enthusiasts. We are CANCELLING the Fly-In scheduled for this weekend at Lakewood Park due to the predicted poor weather and flying conditions. We will try to schedule another event at Lakewood Park later this year. Check out the other events we are hosting in the near future:

July 1 - Learn about Drones at Thompson Library
July 15 - Meet & Fly at Lakewood Park

We worked with SLA Video Productions on their premiere episode of Al A Cart, a new cooking show for seniors. This episode featured Matt Fish of Melt Bar and Grilled. He created a delicious roasted garlic tomato soup. We provided a cable cam rig and remote controlled camera for overhead shots which also fed a big screen for attendees and some lighting gear. Video was recorded at the brand new Cove Community Center in Lakewood, Ohio. Check out the video here:

If you don't have your Part 107 cert please make sure you have taken the quick, easy, and FREE online FAA TRUST test. It's the law! There are several places you can take it. The North Coast Drone Alliance and AUVSI Northern Ohio Satellite are pleased to announce our partnership to host and promote drone-related events in the Northern Ohio region.

Building on previous successes with local meetups, the Cleveland Airshow Drone Zone, and a variety of educational programs, we are working to continue our groups' great programming related to drones, UAVs, and aerial robotics. We already have several public events scheduled for 2022, and we will be announcing more throughout the year.

We are grateful for the hard work of the leadership teams of both organizations in creating this opportunity. This partnership will extend the strength and reach of drone community in Northern Ohio.
