Our Story
C Bar Ranch and Organics is a family-owned-and-operated farm and events venue, specializing in weddings. We focus on just one wedding a week, and give you Friday to enjoy personalizing the luxury barn your way. Then you have Saturday to celebrate your love and commitment with friends and family. Access on Sunday means you can return at your leisure to pick up whatever you left behind after your big party. But C Bar Ranch hasn’t always been a place where happily-ever-after begins. Many years ago, some of the pine forest on the land was used for collecting tree sap that was transformed by State Rep. Jasper Harris into turpentine for water-proofing ships. The land was later farmed and ranched by his daughter, Dorothy and her husband, Roy Cellon. They produced cattle and vegetables, including potatoes for Wise potato chips. Now, the land has been entrusted to their granddaughter, Nanette, her husband, Ray, and their three children. Their mission is to produce fresh, healthy vegetables and fruits in a variety of sustainable and eco-friendly ways and raise animals the way God intended. In March 2017, the farm underwent major changes, so that the Holt family could throw open the barn doors wide to invite others in to enjoy a taste of rural life and all its wonders. Ray, the farm manager, would be proud to show you around, so you can decide whether C Bar Ranch is the best place for you to celebrate in style and comfort. The farm, with its sprawling oaks and air-conditioned barn provide the perfect backdrop of rustic elegance for a wide range of events--from country weddings, complete with a dazzling horse and carriage, to family reunions, corporate events, seminars, team-building retreats and more. C Bar Ranch was named for the livestock brand of Roy and Dorothy Cellon and appeared as a capital C with an underscore.
