✉️Annual Letter to Our Dance Community:

Can you believe it has already been a year since we opened our home, Ritmo Room?!!!😲 Nor we can't believe its been 5 years since we first started Bachata Room Fridays!!! :)

💃🕺Thank you for your continued support, feedback, and good vibes through these years! We could not have done this without the support from you, our local dance community! Thank you to all our dancers, instructors, DJs, volunteers, the city of Albany, collaborators and partner organizations for making Ritmo Room/Bachata Room a staple in the Capital Region.

Cheers to a bright future ahead with a lot of dancing, awesome friendships, collaborations, partnerships and overall good vibes! Stay tuned. :)

Given the holidays and collaboration with other organizations, we are doing only two Saturdays in November (Nov. 1 and Nov. 23) and the first four Fridays in November, including Bachata Room Fridays 5th Anniversary on Friday, November 15th at Bar Vegan! Bachata Room – Albany is the premier place where people gather to enjoy and celebrate Latin culture through music and dancing! Our mission is to create a fun, friendly, safe, and inclusive environment where people come together to learn, dance, and socialize.

Come and enjoy our Bachata Room Fridays at our awesome venues, with awesome people, great music, badass dance instructors, and kickass performances!

Bachata Room Fridays feature beginner/intermediate dance lessons with top local, regional, national and international instructors teaching Bachata, Salsa, Kizomba, and more. Our dance lessons start at 9 PM (drop-ins are welcome, no partners needed).

Our DJs play the best music with a 70-30 music variety – 70% Salsa and Bachata and 30% Kizomba, Merengue, and Latin Top 40 – that keeps you dancing through the night!
