The State Room was nothing short of a dream. From the very first meeting to the last dance of the night, every single detail was executed with such care, professionalism, and warmth that I genuinely don’t know how to put into words just how grateful we are.
Planning a wedding comes with its fair share of stress, but the team at The State Room made the entire process feel seamless. Tom and Lisa are truly exceptional. Not only are they experts at what they do, but they are also kind, compassionate, and genuinely invested in making your day as perfect as possible. We faced the unexpected possibility of having to move our wedding due to a potential deployment, and what could have been an incredibly stressful situation was met with nothing but support and flexibility. They reassured us at every turn and gave us the confidence that, no matter what happened, we were in good hands.
On the day itself, Tom was like a father figure, taking care of me with such kindness and attentiveness. He fluffed my veil and train before I walked down the aisle, cracked jokes when I started to feel overwhelmed, and somehow managed to make every step of the day feel joyful and easy. I never once worried that something might go wrong, because I knew they were already ten steps ahead, handling everything with grace and precision.
And let’s talk about the food. It was phenomenal. Every single guest raved about the menu, from the passed hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour, to the entrées, to the food finale. The culinary team went above and beyond, delivering not just a meal, but a full experience that our guests are still talking about.
The venue itself is breathtaking, but it’s the people behind The State Room who make it truly unforgettable. It’s now a place that holds some of the most meaningful memories of our lives, and that’s because of the care, passion, and dedication of everyone involved.
