April flowers bring May flowers at least to Superior Arts in downtown Albion. The pop-up store at 302 S. Superior in Albion will open on May 5 and 6, featuring all things flowers just in time for Mother's Day.
In addition to art for sale, there will also be "flower art" demonstrations and opportunities for event-goers to purchase gifts for the following Mother's Day weekend. Look for upcoming information about the May 5 and 6 event details.

We will be open on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We are located at 310 S. Superior Street, close to the Secretary of State office. Pick up something for your loved ones. Maybe a bouquet, or a potted plant, or something they can keep and hug for a long time.

Our friend Jim Cascarelli is turning 80.
If you have ever been to Cascarelli's to dine, there is a strong chance that you have spoken to Jim at your table. He is the heart of the restaurant, and we're looking forward to celebrating him.
Come to Cascarelli's, 116 S Superior St, Albion, MI, on Tuesday, January 17th, from 4:30-7:00 to enjoy cake (or say hello) with family and friends.

Jim and Anna are about the same era, and Anna recently did a Valentine's Day decor for Cascarelli's. So you can stop by any time to Cascarelli's for a meal or Anna's for flowers or a plant for your sweetheart.

Anna Merritt from Anna's House of Flowers was honored to receive a tribute at last Friday's Eggs and Issues. State Representative Jim Haadsma presented the tribute, which was signed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist. The tribute mentioned the 37 years of business of Anna's House of Flowers, and Anna Merritt's service to the Albion community over the years.

At Anna’s House of Flowers, we can create a flower arrangement that will in turn make memories, never to be forgotten. Some of our arrangements are to show appreciation of a person’s style. This High Heels centerpiece is in honor of a woman who loves to dress up. A woman who retired recently from a major educational institution here in town, sent her boss this arrangement as a fun memory of their time together at work.

It's the first day of summer, and in Albion and hundreds of music loving cities around the world that also means Fête de la Musique! Everyone, regardless of experience or level, is encouraged to take to the streets to make music in celebration. This is a free event with volunteer performers making music for the sheer joy of it!

There will be stations around Albion with power available, but acoustic music is strongly encouraged. Beginning at 5pm tonight, stroll through our historic brick downtown to catch performers in front of businesses including , , , here at the brewery, and anywhere else folks decide to play a song, dance a dance, or bang out a beat! We hope to see you (and hear you!) tonight!

Valentine's Day is one week away. It's on a Monday! You might not go out to eat, but you could express your love with a fresh floral arrangement. Anna's House of Flowers has floral designers on staff and will deliver your bouquet to your loved one, or you can pick it up! We are located right next door to Albion's Secretary of State and open until 2 p.m. each day. You can call us to order or just come in! Anna's House of Flowers welcomes the new director of the Greater Albion Chamber of Commerce Billy Beers with an arrangement for the office.
Billy comes to Albion most recently from the Battle Creek Chamber of Commerce.
Anna's is moving downtown this weekend and will be open at our new location next door to the Secretary of State on Monday, January 10. Interestingly, we will be in the old location of the Chamber of Commerce. You can still call us to order flowers or plants for your friends or loved ones. In Albion, or anywhere!
