At the end of the day, month, year, decade the colors/toning/editing of the images doesn’t matter as much as if they represent the people in them. True emotion or capturing personality is what makes them stand the test of time. I time traveled back in my phone over a decade today and while I don’t adore the greens in all the images and I sometimes hate the color yellow, everything still felt authentic and the images are still emotionally satisfying and that is what makes them timeless to me.
