Kaizen (改善), is the Japanese word for "continuous improvement" or simply "change for better". Progressive music, be it Trance, House, Breaks, Bass, or anything in-between, is united in the idea of gradual and positive change. Kaizen is a safe space for like-minded individuals to come together for a night of dancing, fun, and memories. We have an amazing sound system, a cozy and relaxed atmosphere with couches and tables, and Japanese drink specials all night long. Kaizen is dedicated to bringing you the best underground DJs that New Mexico has to offer. Our DJs are challenged to select sets that compliment the theme and vibe of the event and to go outside of their comfort zone. Our production is ever evolving as well, with each event gaining more lighting and decoration. As with all shows at Burt's Tiki Lounge, there is never a dress code or a cover charge. All we ask is that you bring only good vibes and good friends. Kaizen is not just a club, it's a movement. It's a fellowship that we can all be included in.
