Baking Together: Creating New Family Traditions as an Engaged Couple

One of the most meaningful ways to start your new family traditions is by revisiting cherished recipes from your families of origin. Whether it’s a recipe passed down for generations or a seasonal favorite, baking together is a wonderful way to honor the past while creating something new for your future together.

Marlys & Kathy recently spent a couple days making lefse! (Lefse is a Norweigian flatbread made from potatoes, flour and of course, butter and cream!)

Our family enjoys it with white sugar and butter. It’s often served with brown sugar and sometimes even cinnamon! (Kathy is the expert, Marlys is there to have fun!)
