First constructed in 1964, the RPC has seen a variety of performers, speakers, and artists to include President Ronald Reagan, Martin Luther King Jr., Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson, Alabama, and many more. The $23.5 million renovation completed in 2017 added style and efficiency to this great facility. The building now features 4 meeting rooms, 6 multi-purpose rooms, a catering kitchen, 4 locker rooms, 10 luxury suites, new office space and ticket booths. Tomorrow’s legacy is in the making. The Rapides Parish Coliseum boasts the ability to host as many as 10,000 people. The recent $23-million-dollar renovation expanded the seating capacity, added 6 meeting rooms, locker rooms, a state-of-the-art catering kitchen, fully equipped office space, as well as a merchandise storefront.
