Next week is GAME ON for fixing up your Dallas area backyard and refreshing your landscape. DO YOU HAVE A PLAN??
Here’s a quick look at one of our recent back yard design plans. The homeowner already had a path and dry creek bed in place, but needed some help with plantings and an idea of how to pull it all together. That’s where we come in!

I took a couple other quick videos as I walked around outside just now that I’m putting in my stories. Everything’s looking a bit unkempt, but not too bad considering all of the rain!

This 40th birthday arrangement (an extra large designer’s choice from our flower shop) absolutely made somebody’s day yesterday. And that somebody was me.
Buying flowers sight unseen for somebody you love can feel pretty risky! It’s a special occasion, you want to make sure they’re getting something awesome, and there’s a significant level of trust that goes into ordering a designer’s choice arrangement.
But really good things can happen when you call or message your local florist and say, “It’s my friend’s birthday and I want to do something special. My budget is XX and I know she likes XX style. I trust you to come up with something beautiful.”
Here are just a few:
1) You’ll be getting the very best seasonal blooms from that particular day. I hadn’t seen these lovey double tulips before yesterday so I couldn’t advertise them, but they were the perfect addition!
2) A carefully selected vase. I intentionally chose this vessel to suit the style of the flowers and what this customer told me about her friend’s tastes. (ICYMI, we’re passionate about pretty vases, and you can always return yours for a 15% off coupon!)
3) Transparency. I always send a full 360 video to my customer prior to delivering the arrangement. Not a front-only photo, not a shot of the flowers dropped off at the front door. I want you to know what you are giving before it arrives. If you see the video and want to make a change, just say so. We’re all about having satisfied customers.
4) Having the opportunity to do something creative and special on your behalf, and knowing that you trust them, will fill your florist with joy and excitement and push them to create something amazing. I can’t speak for everyone, but that’s certainly what happens with me. ❤️❤️
Live update on our garden install!!
Doing a little work in the back garden this morning. This week is our busiest to date, but we’ve got lots of blooms and we’re ready to start sending them your way!
