We are so thankful for another great Valentine season. Had to come to Allen today. We often get asked why our flowers are more expensive than other places and the flowers in the box. Here is a comparison we did a while ago. The flowers on the left are ours. The ones on the right arrived in a box and the customer arranges themselves with no greens or filler. Our roses are long stem, have a higher petal count and are artistically arranged and hand delivered. We are almost sold out so hurry and get your order placed!

Wow!! What an amazing celebration today of our business becoming a Texas Treasure Historical Business. Thank you to Paula Ross and the Allen Historical Society for helping us obtain this amazing recognition and for the amazing celebration. Thank you Eric Hogue, Chair of the Collin County Historical Commission Chair for presenting our certificate. Thank you Mayor Brooks and Council for the Proclamation. We are overwhelmed with how many came to celebrate! Dad and I wore green, my Mom’s favorite color. How amazing that what started out as a “hobby” for my mom has become a HISTORICAL BUSINESS! What an honor it is to carry on her legacy. The Allen Flower Shop loves Allen and we are so grateful to be a part of this amazing community. More to come for now enjoy the few pictures we took.

It was an honor to provide florals for yesterday’s May 6th remembrance service. I always take it to heart to convey love, peace, hope when I make flowers for memorials. I put a lot of thought into making each piece to be a reflection of the life lost and I tailored these to each individual as best as I could. Sometimes it’s all I can do is to show love through my flowers. I know it’s not much but it’s something I can do. May God Bless these families.

Hear me out. And this may be a shock to my friends. Carnations get a bad rap. Anyone that has known me for years, knows I have been saying NO to carnations. I grew up in the business and the traditional red, white, pink, seem “old school” to me because I saw them used a lot. BUT!! Y’all. I say y’all because we are in Texas but I digress.
