We need to clear up some confusion in our community.

Allen Flower Shop has NO affiliation with any business using the names Flowers Allen, 800 Flowers Allen, or North Texas Flowers.

That business attempted to rebrand using the name Flowers Allen, which infringed on our long-established name. A cease-and-desist was issued. While they were allowed to keep the website flowersallentx, they were never associated with Allen Flower Shop.

That business closed permanently this past Saturday. However, their Google listing and website are still active, which is causing confusion.

The Rose Bowl Parade is our favorite tradition to watch every year….all the flowers… ohhh, all the flowers! 🌸 Someday I hope to experience it in person. Jim and Carolyn were lucky enough to go one year, and I’m so thankful they got to see it in person!

This year will be extra special as our very own Allen Eagle Escadrille marches in the parade! As a former Tallenette Captain, I couldn’t be more excited for these students to have such an unforgettable experience.

We love flowers. We love Allen. What a perfect combination this year.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow morning and cheer on our “We’re the best now and still…Allen Eagle Escadrille”!

As I paid my property taxes for our business this past week, it was a reminder of how much a local business truly gives back to its community. Our small, family-owned shop helps support the City of Allen, our local schools, and Collin County. While we may be small, every dollar adds up and it stays right here at home.

Shopping local means your sales tax dollars stay local. It also means supporting businesses that pay property taxes directly back into the community they serve. That’s something online and out-of-town companies simply don’t do.

As you finish up your last-minute shopping, please keep your local brick-and-mortar businesses in mind. When you shop with us, you’re supporting a small family business that has proudly invested in Allen for 53 years.
