It's time to make plans for summer break. Don't let your kids sit around and say they are bored. Give them a week at Highlands where they will be engaged, learn about nature, gain self confidence, grow in personal faith, unplug from tech, and make memories. Funding from our supporters allows us to keep the cost low so that everyone has the opportunity to experience summer camp.

It’s time for a Summer Camp sum-up time. Let’s take a deeper look into what to expect at All About the Arts Camp. 7th through 12th graders will enjoy this time participating in daily art journal, watercolors, working with clay, leaf print making, tie dye, nature mandalas, and so much more. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in rock climbing, nature hikes, canoeing, and archery. This camp is geared for campers who enjoy creating and expressing themselves through art. They will find inspiration from nature and their peers and learn about how they are linked by love and acceptance. All About the Arts is July 6th – 11th. It’s time for a Summer Camp sum-up.Let’s take a deeper look at our combination camp that brings 4th, 5th and 6th grade kids together with differently-abled kids from Respite Care of Ft. Collins. This camp is packed full of laughter and fun. Campers entering 4th, 5th, and 6th grade get to do all camp activities alongside our campers from Respite Care in Fort Collins. Together they will learn about how they are linked by love, grace, nature, change, and acceptance. Camp crafts, canoeing, archery, and rock climbing are sure to be highlights for most campers, but the friendships they form will make them smile years from now. Summer Camp sum-up time! Let’s take a deeper look at Outdoor Living Skills Camp. June 22nd – 27th campers entering 7th grade through graduating Seniors can learn survival skills and facts about nature. This camp is perfect for the nature lover and those who want to learn how to spend time safely in the wilderness. Campers will also get to enjoy rock climbing, archery, canoeing, and challenge course and learn how they are linked to creation. Summer Camp sum-up time! Let’s take a closer look at Full or Half-week Intergenerational Camp. This camp is for campers 5 year-olds and older and their family units to experience camp-life together. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or special guardians join along with their young campers in all activities. You can choose to attend Sunday through Wednesday afternoon or stay until Friday. This camp allows families to take time and be present with each other and make memories doing fun activities like challenge course, rock-climbing, archery, hiking and more. This camp is a perfect option for campers who are not able to stay a whole week. Full or Half-week Intergenerational Camp is June 22nd- 27th. Summer Camp sum-up time, where we take a deeper look into what to expect at Summer Camp. Let’s take a closer look at Full-week Intergenerational Camp. This camp is for campers age 5 and up and is made for family units to experience camp-life together. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or special guardians join along with their young campers in all activities. Don’t be intimidated adults, you CAN participate. This camp will enjoy rock climbing, archery, canoeing, nature hikes, crafts, and more, while growing their bond with their family and making new friends. This camp takes place the same week of High School and Middle School Camp, so it is a great option to include your younger family members who don’t want to miss out on the fun. Summer Camp sum-up time! Let’s take a closer look at Middle School Camp. This camp is for kids entering 6th grade up to those entering 8th grade. This is a fun-filled camp where campers will be able to be themselves in a safe and accepting environment, form friendships and unplug and logout. Campers are encouraged to try new things and grow in their self-confidence while participating in games, archery, challenge course, rock climbing and more. Our first guided snowshoe hike was a success! With blue skies and just enough snow, this crew had a blast! Thanks to Terry, Beck, and Walt for joining us. Next snowshoe hike will be Saturday, March 1st at 10:00am. Come play outside with us!
