“Rustic Elegance” is our vision. Affordability is our goal. Supporting local businesses and farmers is our passion.

We do the planning, prep & ex*****on. You relax and enjoy your event, family & friends. Host your small event in the old Blacksmith Shop at the Blue Door Inn in Alma, Wisconsin. We can accommodate events up to 20, around 10 is the perfect size. The Eagle’s Nest Loft at the Inn at Big River Theatre is also a perfect venue for a gathering.

If you are staying at one of the Blue Door Properties we can also offer you a personal chef for one or more meals ... cooked right where you are staying.

VENUES: Blue Door Inn or Inn At Big River Theatre and other venues around the Alma area are available for larger groups DESIGN & FLOWERS: Alma Bloom Florist, our premier event floral designer CATERING & FOOD: Blue Door Inn, a personal chef or a partnering caterer are available for food preparation depending on the meal being served and the size of the event. “Farm to Inn” focus on food with offerings that are organic and local when possible.

The Blue Door Inn and Blue Door Properties are so pleased to sponsor this cooperative adventure. Daily we prepare a Farm To Inn Breakfast for our hotel guests at the Blue Door Inn. But we are also working directly with Alma Blooms Florist and local personal chefs & caterers to host small intimate events in the Blacksmith Shop at the Inn or the Loft at Inn At Big River Theatre. Event planning for larger events away from our managed properties is also available. Other local partners will be added to the mix as this venture grows.
