When life gives you pumpkins…you make pumpkin pie! Wait a minute…🤔

Our flower website is currently down for a few days. 😕 While this is surely an inconvenience, we do apologize, we are going to take full advantage of the downtime by filling our current prebook orders and closing the floral studio for the rest of the week. This will allow us to finish up our holiday installation schedule and still have time to make pie! 🥧

Fall is here! Keep in mind as the days get shorter some interior tropical plants will start entering their winter dormancy. Plants like Hoya who have been drinking like fish and growing like crazy over the summer will need dry feet going into winter.

This means we start weaning them off their big drinks and let them dry back before giving water. They will slow their growth, and hibernate as we stop providing fertilizer through the winter months.

In late April, early May they will wake up ravenous for food and water again.

So remember, don’t fertilize in the late fall/winter. Make sure the top 2-3” of soil is dry before watering. And don’t be disappointed that new growth is slow to form, if at all through the winter.

We’ve been having a day…🥶 our flower cooler froze up…again…🪦 We thought it was fixed but alas, it clearly was not.

I can’t bear to lose another batch of flowers to this week so we are limiting our flower selections while we order a new part and are confident the cooler is 💯%.

🪴Don’t forget we have PLANTS! 🪴 We make the best mixed plant bowls…Lily says so, and she would know. 🐶
