Happy GAME DAY Council Grove! I'm coming to town today (Friday Sept. 27th) with some gorgeous wrapped sunflower bunches and wrapped zinnia/sunnie bouquets. These are great gifts for a friend, and a wonderful weekend treat for yourself!

Come see me next to the Ray's parking lot (on Bolton's side) from about 11:30 to 1. If I sell out I'll post an update!

Update: only 3 bouquets left!

Who needs flowers for the weekend? I'm supposed to be taking a break, but the flowers didn't get that memo 😅 So I'll stock the self-serve stand with bouquets this evening (Friday Sept. 20th) from 5PM to 8PM, and tomorrow morning (Saturday the 21st) from 8 AM to 12 noon or sold out. I'll update this post and on stories if we sell out.

The flower stand is out at the gate where you turn in to our Farm. For now we take cash and venmo at the self-serve stand. Message me with questions!

We have an announcement! This weekend will be the LAST CHANCE to buy flowers at the farm stand. This has been such an amazing first season for us, and we are SO SO thankful for all of the support we have experienced from our community and our followers!

The zinnias are slowing down, and honestly y'all, so am I! My body is not holding up to the demand right now, and it's time for me to step back and focus on my family and try to reset in preparation for fall. I'm hoping my doctors can help get my pain under control; that's really the biggest thing right now, so prayers are much appreciated. But now I'll have more time to start planning and prepping for next season!

We WILL still be renting for photo sessions, and we may have a special event sometime this fall as well. I'm hoping to have a Christmas photo session rental at the farm this year too! I'll still be very active here so all our followers can keep up with us, and even help me with input on all the fun things we can grow for next season.

Come see us on Saturday for our last farm stand of the season! We'd love to see you ☺️

It's really starting to look like fall at the farm! The zinnias are really slowing down with these shorter days. I have a feeling we might sell out of flowers on Saturday, so remember to check our stories to stay updated before you drive out! I'll post if we sell out early. ☺️

Also I'm finally planting my apple mint starts from my flower friend, Dawn with Flint Hills Herbs and Blooms. This will be beautiful and fragrant in next year's bouquets!

This week will probably be the last for the zinnias in my personal garden.The northeast Kansas heat and humidity has a way of encouraging powdery mildew on zinnias, so these have to go!

There will still be lots of lovely flower patches to enjoy, but if you haven't had a chance to meander the pathway and enjoy the blooms in my small garden, I invite you to come this Saturday and enjoy it while you can! There are lots of beautiful things hiding in and under the zinnias, but these were the first I planted, and I'll definitely feel a bit of sadness seeing them go 😪

We have a few spots open for Photo session rentals at Bloom Wagon Farms for the last 2 weekends of September! $30 per hour while the flowers are here, and price will drop to $20 per hour after the flowers are done for the season.

We do require a contract signed by the photographer and their clients, and ask a 50% non-refundable deposit in order to book your spot, and prepayment for a $20 bouquet if you would like one for your photo session!

We will be limiting bookings to 2 photographers per hour, so there should be plenty of space for everyone to move around different areas of the farm. Message us to book your spot!

Did you know the sunflowers we grow for your bouquets are pollenless? The ones we have blooming this week have some really large blooms, but they won't dump pollen on your surfaces! I'm thinking of putting together a couple of sunflower bouquets for this weekend- I think they'll make a beautiful Kansas bouquet!
