It's time again for the AYS Summer Music Camp! This camp is for students that will be in grade 3 - 8 for the 2024-25 school year.

There is a suggested fee of $20 that can be made via PayPal or by check. Scholarships to camp are available upon request!

Alton High Symphonic Orchestra will be presenting "The Sun, The Moon, and The Stars," a selection of music highlighting outer space and all its beauty. In Harmony with Nature serves as a fundraiser for The Nature Institute and we are so happy to have our talented local students featured as part of this favorite event.

Alton Youth Symphony is hosting its annual Summer Music Camp! Please share this information, students do NOT have to be in AYS to be a part of our summer camp!

The cost is only $10!

Camp will take place July 24 - July 28. Each day the students will work on musical skills that will help them throughout the school year, learn in sectional groups, collaborate with their peers, hear from guest speakers, and perform a concert!

This camp is for students in Grades 3 – 8 for the 2023-2024 school year, strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion!

On April 14th the Alton Youth Symphony will be hosting their annual Educational Concert. During the Educational Concert, AYS will share a performance designed to demonstrate the band and orchestra instruments as well as to serve as an introduction to what a full orchestra is.

The concert begins at 10am and will conclude by 11am and will take place at Hathaway Hall on the campus of Lewis and Clark Community College (5800 Godfrey Rd., Godfrey, IL 62035).
There is no cost to attend this concert and we are able to cover bus fees on a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested in attending all you have to do is fill out this form! All students at a school are welcome to attend, not just those enrolled in band or orchestra!
