We've had some amazing nights of music here at The Lovejoy through the years..I wish I could thank EVERY ONE of you musicians.! Our first band was Falling Fences, and that acoustic, folky vibe was predominant for the most part...but not all. About every band in town played at our Christmas Fundraisers, blues with the NGK Band, first gig for Porch Cafe, HUGE nights with the Bishops and Channel 3, smoke-filled Schwag night, As the Crowe Flies from STL, and the Bluegrass Festivals put on by great guy and our good friend Tait Kelly. I can't thank Tait enough. This early spring he started a monthly bluegrass jam, that was just picking up steam. And likewise, Donner Rusk and Teresa Penrose, started up JerryJam, with some awesome musicians having great time. The LAST JERRY JAM here at The Lodge will be this Sunday, 2-5, RAIN OR SHINE! Our last day open...Should be a blast...eat all the food and drink all the beer that's left!

Through thick and thin, highs and lows, slow nights and packed nights, Greg has been my biggest supporter, right hand man, confidante, and friend. Restaurant people are bonded in a unique way...I'm sure lucky I had Greg by my side along the way. It sure was a blast, buddy...thanks for everything. Here's me and Greg with our best pals Fritz and Marla, at the Gus Kodros Memorial Night. Greg will be at the Lodge bar all weekend, starting Thursday night (no food), and Friday night, to serve you and entertain you with his knowledge of soccer minutia.

We've had a lot of great nights with Jay...he's a great musician, entertainer, and friend. Thanks SO much to Jay, (and Greg and Mike, the MadBaileys, who he performed with on so many gigs!)
