I love how mini sessions always bring different facets of my life all together. I had friends from grad school getting head shots, past colleagues getting maternity photos, and lots of repeat clients getting updated family photos.

it truly is a blessing to be a part of my clients lives, and to be able to document their changes over the years.

Y'all! I can't believe I haven't showed y'all my brother's wedding photos yet!

In May, we flew to Virginia and he and his bride got married at the beautiful Edith J. Carrier Arboretum at JMU. It was gorgeous! The rain held off and left us with a serene, intimate wedding filled with the most heartfelt vows.

I'm so honored to have been able to have photographed their big day and dance the night away with them!

Moms, I can't stress this enough.

Get in the photos.

Your kids don't care if your hair needs to be dyed, you've got a little extra in the midsection, or you have nothing in your closet to wear.

Get in the photos.

Set the timer on your phone. Have a friend take them. Hire a photographer.

Your kids will only be little for so long, so take the photos because years from now you'll be so glad you did.

It's the last day of RODEOHOUSTON and it's the first day as a married couple for Norma and Ben!

These two had an intimate wedding ceremony this morning and it was just perfection. Their friends and family surrounded them with love as they committed their lives together.

I just love these intimate weddings like this!

I met Katey and Josh back in 2015 when I photographed their engagement and wedding. When I say they had the best group of friends and the most fun atmosphere I’ve ever experienced at a wedding, I mean it. Josh and Katey had a love that was unmatched. I remember how he looked at her on their wedding day with pride and awe and love and it was just a beautiful thing to be a part of.

Sadly, Josh lost his life a couple days ago.

The family relied on Josh’s income and I can’t imagine the fear Katey must have - along with the immense grief she’s feeling. Because of this, their friends have opened up a go fund me. If you feel led, please donate to help Katey and Maddie have one less thing to worry about.

Nathan is one cool kid. He's a leader in about a bajillion different school clubs and he's just the most laid back, awesome guy. In just a few short months, he'll be off conquering the world!
