Howdy! I feel like it’s time to reintroduce myself because it’s been a hot minute and I’m not the best at keeping up with social media. 🤪

I’m Lyndzey! Owner of Wildflower Design + Events. I officially started WD+E in 2020, after closing my boutique - The Pretty Pistol. I’m married, have two beautiful kiddos, two spoiled dogs, and currently two ornery sheep that live in our backyard (Mario & Peach). I graduated from Texas A&M (whoop!), grew up in small town America, have a love of fashion, and could live on chips & salsa.

WD+E was a calling on my heart to act on my creative passion for event coordinating. I graduated from TAMU with a BA in Horticulture and a minor in Event Management. My original intent was to become a florist and own a flower shop 💐 although I love designing florals, I also fell in love with event planning and coordination, and decided to focus more on that. As we all know, life changes and I ended up in the Oil & Gas industry which led me to Decatur, TX and my full-time job as Manager, Client Engagement at Energy Worldnet, Inc. Which I also LOVE! 🤍 In 2020, I knew I had to close my Pretty Pistol chapter and do something I had loved and yearned for, for many years. And then Wildflower Design + Events was born.

I’ve been blessed with A M A Z I N G couples over the last 4 years. Truly, THE BEST. I’ve created new friendships and relationships with my clients as well as their families and that is the thing I cherish most about this journey. I’ve also been blessed to work with talented vendors across Texas and beautiful venues. Especially, Flying V Ranch Event Venue here in Decatur, TX.

Happy Sunday ✝️ was breathtakingly beautiful & was so neat to work in. You should hear the organs! If you’re located in North Texas & are looking for a smaller/micro wedding venue, I highly recommend.

7 years ago this month (August 6th to be exact) I said YES to the man of my dreams, which meant I got started planning the wedding of my dreams! It was everything I ever imagined. Everyone had SO MUCH FUN - which is all I wanted. The BEST party, celebrating our love, with all of our family & friends. I would relive everyday if I could 🤍

Hi! I'm Lyndzey, owner & creator of Wildflower Design + Events. This adventure of mine has been a long time coming, but I am so excited to finally announce it to all of my family, friends, and potential clients!

A little about me:
I graduated from Texas A&M in 2012 with a BA in Horticulture, with an emphasis in Floral Design & a minor in Event Management. After college, I played around with the idea of becoming an event planner but life took a different route - I opened an online boutique & moved to North Texas instead. For the past 7 years, I have worked in the Oil & Gas Industry & operated The Pretty Pistol Boutique on the side, as well as being a wife & mama.

At the beginning of 2020, after I began a new job, I knew God was telling me that it was time to close The Pretty Pistol Boutique chapter of my life and move on. For those of you who know me personally, know that I just can't sit around and not have something "extra" to do. I knew that event planning was and IS my true passion & now was the time to pursue that dream...which leads us to Wildflower Design & Events.

Wildflower Design & Events specializes in wedding & event coordinating services, as well as, floral design services across the state of Texas. If you or anyone you know is needing assistance with any type of event, I would love to help out in any way! I truly love the process of creating and helping with the details of a special event that is so important to someone. Seeing the finished product, the guest experience, and the joy on my client's face when the event is done is my "why" and why I am so thrilled for this adventure. I'm happy you are here to share this with me ❤
