About a week and a half before this wedding we decided to add “trees”….design and production were suuuper quick and squeezed in between other event production. Somehow, someway they turned out pretty dang good. And somehow, someway I’m still standing haha. 🌳

How fitting that on a year where I feel like I’m taking a “breather” I win such an honored award. Eek! Focusing on my work-life balance after years and years (and years) of craze…somehow this feels like the search for love. Like when you stop trying so dang hard it’ll find you.

But in light of this happy year of taking time for me so that I can pour a balanced bit of myself into my work - there’s noooo way any of Belovely would be possible without the hard working and passionate employees over the years. To all of you: I’m so everrr grateful. Like for real. Especially when your leader (cough, cough me) is known for explaining things with gestures and sound effects. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Thank you my flower fairies for sticking with me and making my job so fun.

I recently had a wedding breakdown chatting it up with the bride and mob where they were just so pleased and thankful and couldn’t say enough good things about the florals of their day - to which I could only respond with a big smile letting them know how happy this review made me and ended with “I just love my job”.
Their response? “We can tell, and are so lucky you do”

Designing weddings with is always a dream. This particular one I remember saying to myself “don’t show them how excited you are to do this just in case the design shifts” ….legit had to reel in the giddy. But then we got to execute. AAaand I got to build these pillar stands with my own two hands (side note I love building and power tools).
Simplistic and yet so statement.
