TEMPORARY DELIVERY DRIVERS NEEDED! Please read full description first. Timp Valley Floral is looking for extra help delivering flowers for Mother's Day weekend. We need people who can help out on Thursday (just a few people are needed this day), Friday & Saturday all day.
The pay is $12.00/hour but no taxes are deducted from it! You are paid the very following week. We also pay for your fuel.
We need people who:
1. Have a smartphone with a working camera & data on it.
2. Preferably work both days Friday & Saturday.
3. Have their own vehicle & a vehicle that gets at least 20 mpg. (No big trucks or anything that is a gas hog).
4. People who are looking to have a fun weekend delivering smiles to sweet mothers.
You can bring a "helper" with you to run flowers up to the door, but they must be at least 7 years or older. Car seats take up too much room for delivering. We only pay per vehicle, not per person.
If you are interested in the job then please come into the shop for a brief 5-10 minute orientation. (We are SUPER busy with Mother's Day this week, so we aren't great at answering questions on here.)
We only take limited spots and we reserve those for people who have completed the onsite orientation, so hurry in fast to get a spot. Thank you for your interest!

Please read FULL description before applying. Timp Valley Floral in American Fork is looking for a new delivery driver who can work Monday's, Wednesday, every other Thursday, Fridays & every other Saturday.
The times differ every day depending on what orders we get in (we never know until that day). Most of our drivers work between 10:30-4:00 on average but the earliest would be 7:45 am. Latest would be 7:30 pm. (Except on major flower holidays). Sometimes we'll send you home or just on a break to wrap up orders; so someone local would be better. So you would be on call on the days you work.
Pay depends on speed. The quicker you are, the more you are paid. My regular delivery drivers usually get around $12.00-$13.00/hour. But we never cap your potential earnings, I've had drivers make $16/hour. Mostly paid mile reimbursement which doesn't have taxes! You are required to drive your own vehicle if you want to be paid by mileage reimbursement.
If you would like to drive our vehicle the you must 24 years or older and have a spotless driving record. You would be paid a flat $10.00/hour.
You will be required to do some things in shop (which is paid at an even $10.00/hour) Usually just washing buckets, sweeping floors, taking out the trash, mowing the lawn, changing the marquee, etc.
You must be available to work half day on Christmas Eve & every day during Valentines & Mothers Day Week.

We are looking for someone who has in shop design experience who can start working asap. Someone who has worked as a designer at a floral for at least a year is preferred.
Shop duties would require helping customers, using computers, every day and event work. As well as cleaning buckets, sweeping, flower care, etc.
A very fun job with great co-workers!
Message me if you are interested. Pay will depend on your experience. An interview will consist of a verbal interview as well as a design portion.
Hours and days vary. I am looking for someone who can work Monday, Fridays and every other Saturday for sure and maybe another day in there as well. Flexible and can be worked around. Every other Saturday or at least one Saturday a month is a requirement. Usually you will get 30-36 hours/week. Again, I'm flexible on this so let's chat!

Our Story
Hello all! My name is Shaylynn & I am the new owner of Timp Valley Floral. I took over for my mom, who bought it from her Mother-in-law. So I am proud to say that I am the 3rd generation owner of this cute little, local shop.
I feel lucky to have such a steady, knowledgeable staff. Designers that have been with us for nearly 20 years. We get a good mix between the old stuff and the new stuff as we always try to stay current with all styles. But it never hurts to refer back to the good old days too.
