Anndrew’s Event Center

We have been working hard at Anndrew's Event Center, cleaning it out, deep cleaning, painting walls, floors, replacing light fixtures, landscaping, etc. We finally have a few of the spaces done and ready for rental. The last 2 will be ready soon.

The largest space is the former 1905 Church with a beautiful original tin ceiling, hardwood floors and working pipe organ. This area has 100 permanent chairs and is approximately 1000 square feet. We have 6' banquet tables and chairs that can be used for optional set ups. The acoustics are fabulous with the tin ceiling. We have installed 3 huge beautiful crystal chandeliers. There is a bathroom on this level.

Upstairs behind the choir loft are 2 teaching rooms. Each one has a piano and a window that lets in light from the South. The rooms are approximately 5.5' x 10' each. There is also a bathroom on this level.

In the lower level is a catering kitchen (not commercial) that has a large refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher, microwave, counter, sink and a stainless steel surface on wheels. It is approximately 11'x19'. This is a light and bright room with 2 windows.

On this same level is a small room that can be used for meetings or an office or ? It measures 9.5' x 15'. This room also has 2 windows.

On the same level is a huge room that we are still working on. This room measures approximately 14 x 21.5. This would make a great meeting room, craft/quilt room, etc. We are waiting for 2 new windows to be installed and then we will deep clean and paint the floor. I will post new pictures when it is finished.

The middle level to the back has a walk out to the parking lot on the South side. Lots of light coming in these windows too. This room measures approximately 17.5 x 19 and has a linoleum floor.

A couple steps down from the middle level is a room that had been used for a dressing room in the past. It measures approximately 10 x 17.5 and has hanging racks for clothes, a dressing table area with mirrors and a window. There is also a bathroom on this level with a window.

There are 3 entrances to the building - Front, back and side, so that areas can be rented out separately. Each entry has a coded door lock.

We had a great turn out last night for the Amery Community Club Meeting! We were happy to host the event and had Garibaldi’s cater the food.

The chandeliers are hung!

We have been busy at the Event Center hanging new chandeliers. 2 large chandeliers for the old church area and one for the balcony. Each of the large chandeliers has 250 crystals that had to be hung individually by hand. The small chandelier had 150 crystals. Thanks to my friend Vicki and Andy for their help. Hoping the 2 large chandeliers will be wired this week.

Anndrew’s Event Center had its first private Birthday Party. There were 60 guests in attendance and all had a great time! Fiddlehead Kitchen catered the event. Yum!

Anndrew's Event Center is a former church that was built in 1897. Most recently it had been used for a music and art center. We plan to rent it for small weddings, family events/parties, craft classes, meetings, yoga, etc. There are 2 teaching music rooms available. We plan to have standup comics, music, plays, open mike nights and more. We want to bring new talent and fun events to Downtown Amery.

In July of 2023, Andy & Nancy purchased the building at 113 Elm Street - Just 2 blocks south of Ruby Mae's Treasures in Amery, WI. It is the building that housed the former Northern Lakes Center for the Arts. We are calling it Anndrew's Event Center. We are excited about bringing new events to Amery!
