✨special announcement✨ I will not be booking any future wedding clients. (At least for the foreseeable future…maybe I’ll be back 😉) I am wanting to focus on my full time job and I’m excited to have weekends and evenings free. This has been such a fun journey, and I’ve loved working with all of my couples over the past 2 years. I’m honored that you all trusted me with such an important day. I’m excited to finish out my 2022 and 2023 wedding seasons with some sweet couples. THANK YOU everyone for your support and encouragement ☺️

Hello 👋🏻 I’m Sydney! The gal behind Haven Events. Keep reading to hear of a few random facts about me!

- I graduated from Iowa State with a degree in event management in May 2020 (what a time to graduate AND open a wedding planning business)
- I can basically quote the entire movie “The Wedding Planner” (I credit J.Lo to my dream of being a wedding planner, but she for sure makes it look more glamorous than it actually is)
- I’m an enneagram 9 (I don’t want to put myself in a box by saying that but I honestly relate to every 9 meme on Instagram)
- I love to bake (yes, I did have a sourdough starter back in March)
- I love road trips and traveling, but I’ve also realized I’m a big homebody (I’ll hop in the car and go out west any day)
- My favorite thing about being a wedding planner is working hard behind the scenes so friends, family, and most importantly the couple can spend the day celebrating ❤️
