The Maintenance Shop, or M-Shop as it is affectionately known, is the longest running nightclub in Ames, IA. The M-Shop is located in the west entrance of the Memorial Union (2229 Lincoln Way | Ames, IA) at Iowa State University and hosts around 50 musical shows a year. In addition, the M-Shop also hosts stand-up comedy nights, Grandma M

ojos Moonshine Revival, a student improv comedy troupe, open mic nights, theater performances, dances, and more. The M-Shop is an ALL AGES VENUE that is open for events in the evenings and from 11:00am-5:00pm weekdays, during the academic year, for studying, lounging and relaxing while listening to upcoming artists. As a student-run entity of Iowa State University's Student Union Board (SUB), the M-Shop can be rented for events or private use. Without a bad seat in the house, the M-Shop easily rivals any venue for performance quality and concert experience for its patrons. Stop by the M-Shop and check us out...We welcome suggestions for artists and improvements and we'll do our best to provide superior customer service if you come to enjoy a show!
