It is with great sadness, lots of tears shed, and difficult consideration that we have decided to close Zilch Florist. Our last day of business will be July 14th.
•Although this is not an easy decision, it is the right decision for many different reasons. There is some peace in knowing that we are choosing to close on our own and not being forced to close. It has been an absolute honor and joy to be able to serve our community and surrounding ones as well. One of the hardest parts of this decision was knowing the amount of people that rely on us, will no longer have that option. We have created some wonderful friendships and working relationships with so many people, including our vendors and we are going to truly miss all of it and YOU. Although we are sad this chapter has come to a close, we are looking forward to future endeavors.
We cannot make this anoouncement without mentioning our wonderful employees(more like friends actually). Two of them stuck by our side when we bought the flower shop in 2010 and the other two were wonderful additions. Without them, there is no way we would have been able to do business over the past 12.5+ years.
•••Twila, Amy, Debby, Morgan: your dedication, work ethic, and friendship have been so very appreciated. When we say thank you at the end of each day, we truly meant it. It has been so great to get to work with you daily and you all are SO VERY talented, a true asset to not only us but the community as well. You put your heart and soul into every single order, no matter the size or amount and it showed. We are going to miss laughing with you, crying with you, and just our everyday banter.
To all our bonus people; Emilee, Sam, Jenn and many delivery drivers who were so willing to help at a drop of a hat at holiday times or to cover vacations, etc., Your willingness never went unnoticed and couldn't have survived those busy times without you. You all are so talented as well and equally put your heart into your work. We appreciate you so much!
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! It has been a great 12+ years. Lots of ups and downs but we're glad we're going out on top!
