Hooray it's here! Anacortes Pride Parade and Celebration 2024! Be sure to stop by the Anacortes Pride booth and grab one of this year's awesome shirts! You can also buy a raffle ticket for one of many fabulous prizes! Including original art, t-shirts, quilts, and delicious cupcakes! You do not need to be present to win.

In this talk celebrating Pride Month, Linden Jordan from PFLAG Skagit will be discussing the ABCs of LGBTQ+. Some refer to this as the alphabet soup, but these initials represent a segment of our culture who are often misunderstood and discriminated against. You will understand the differences between sexual anatomy, gender identity and sexual orientation. And what about those chosen names and pronouns? Why are they so important? What do you say when someone you love tells you that they are transgender, nonbinary, asexual? The motto at PFLAG is Lead with Love. We will talk about how that motto translates to everyday life. Please join us for this fascinating conversation.
