Our Story
I love flowers.
To be honest, becoming a floral designer happened upon me quite unexpected. I took a 3 month intensive course about 10 years ago because I thought it would be fun. Part of the curriculum was a 6 week internship at any flower shop that would have me.
I picked one in Anacortes because I was planning to move here and that made the most sense. Thankfully, one accepted me and that's when the real experience began. I had the upmost pleasure of learning from one of the most amazing designers and person I have ever met. He taught me how to find my style and to be creative in ways I never would have learned on my own. I would not be the designer I am today without his influence and I am forever grateful.
After two years in this wonderful shop I took some time off to travel and explore. I got married myself and did my wedding flowers, my first time designing after an almost 3 year break. I was reminded my love for it and decided to start my own business just doing flowers for weddings or events. I really enjoy working with brides to come up with something that really reflects them. I'm also a fan of supporting local flower growers and try to use as much local product as possible...because why not?
