Heading to Jackson for a wedding week?! Here is how I choose to spend my days Jackson Hole. I’d love to know what you would do differently!

1. Start at Pearl Street Bagels. A lox fillet bagel and a latte for me and an everything and a shot in the dark for Shawn!

2. Next stop, Emily Stevens State Park to let the 🐺🐺 run around off leash and to soak in early morning views of the mountains and the Snake River.

3. Drive straight past JHMR (sorry!) and over Teton Pass to Targhee . Take Powder laps all day long with breaks in the parking lot to love on the 🐺🐺.

4. Or ride snowmobiles into Granite Hot Springs. If you don’t have a snowmobile, you can also visit by car in non-snowy months or book a snowmobile tour! In addition to the established pool, you can also find pockets of warmth beneath the waterfall in the river!

5. If Yellowstone is part of the plan, we never skip Lake Yellowstone or the West Thumb Geyser Basin. I recommend staying in the historic hotel or in the brown cabins (not the yellow ones). Always make a dinner reservation and arrive early to sip on a beverage and enjoy the music in the huge lobby.

6. To end a fabulous day, hit up Pinky Gs Pizza. Is there another place to get dinner in town? Get a large pizza and a beer. Eat the whole thing with your spouse. Do not feel guilty about it.

✨Reliability Matters: Choose bridesmaids who are reliable and responsible. From dress fittings to pre-wedding events, having dependable friends by your side ensures a smoother planning process.

✨Size Doesn't Matter: Your bridal party doesn't have to be extensive; quality over quantity is key. Selecting a smaller group of devoted friends can create a more intimate and personal atmosphere.

Remember, your bridesmaids are there to celebrate and support you. Choose those who bring joy to your journey and share in the excitement of your special day.

When planning a wedding, we can get so caught up with the pretty, but can we talk for a minute about what makes a wedding fun!?

✨Interactive Entertainment - This includes everything from getting an epic band like that interacts with the crowd, to dance floor props like sunglasses and LED wands.

✨Music that Speaks to Everyone - A diverse and well-curated song list is crucial for keeping the energy high on the dance floor. Include a mix of genres and eras + the couple’s favorite songs to keep everyone from grandparents to friends up and dancing. Highly recommend for weddings in Montana and northern Wyoming.

✨Late Night Bites - nothing keeps the party going like a tray of sliders, pizza, or fried cheese (seriously this was such a hit).

✨Comfortable Seating & Lounge Areas - nobody wants to go sit at their table after dinner. Provide comfortable seating near the dance floor where guests can crash for a few mito take a break from dancing or where they can watch the dancing and still feel like they are part of the fun!

November is a month for gratitude, and when I look back on the gorgeous wedding photos from Sabre and Nate’s wedding, I can’t help but feel overwhelmingly grateful for my amazing couples.

Dr. Sabre Moore and Dr. Nate Carroll run the Carter County Museum in Ekalaka, Montana - the first museum in Montana to display dinosaur fossils. They are also two of the coolest, kindest, and most interesting people I’ve ever met.

This past winter, Shawn and I went to Sun Valley for the first time to finally make use of our Sun Valley days on our Mountain Collective passes. The entire time we were there, I couldn’t get over the amazing views, the world class skiing, the intimate feel of the resort, the miles and miles of !!dog friendly!! cross country skiing trails, the fun bars and restaurants in town, and so much more. As we were leaving, I turned to Shawn and said “We have to live here someday!”

Well, we aren’t moving to Sun Valley yet, but these two lovely humans gave me the opportunity to work with them on their wedding next summer at the groom’s parent’s home, and I couldn’t be more excited!
