Another birthday celebration for the cutest little 🧜‍♀️ mermaid Scarlett. Scarlett TWO the sea. We actually met Jenny & Tim from one of our half marathon runs. They are an adventurous family. We admire their ability to balance it all: work, life, outdoors, play, fun, and friends.

Jenny & Tim are returned clients. This means so much to us as we grown our small business. We value their trust in us and them valuing our artistry and efforts.

We don’t copy. We create. While inspiration is always welcome and gets the ball rolling with planning, true artistry comes from trusting your STYLIST to bring your vision to life in their own creative and unique way. •MADISON’S 6th DJ DISCO BIRTHDAY•

We love anything and everything DISCO 🪩 this is a first big party for Madison and her mom did not leave any details out. We took that as our motivation to WOW Madison and took it as LUX as we could.

Neon colors and balloons were important factors and so we went bright; from the entry way, to the tables, to the focal area, and to the desserts. The venue looked like a shiny neon disco ball explosion. While the colors and balloons catered to the kids, we still wanted the venue to feel elegant and classy for our clients. Madison literally have the coolest parents. Dancing from the moment we revealed the space and smiling.

This event gave us the opportunity to work with 3 new vendors. Keeping vendor relationships are important to us as it helps us fulfill the needs of our clients. Welcome to the Dream team 🤝

Returning clients are extra special although it does come with extra pressure to be creative. But, reminding ourselves that returning clients demonstrates loyalty and satisfaction. This is our second install for Mr. & Mrs. Anunciacion. Our initial event was to celebrate for their baby shower. This second install is to celebrate Lennon turning ONE.

Communication with Judy helped us understand her esthetics and ideal vision for Lennon’s day. Inspirational photos played an important role. We aim to always put our own creative spin to our setups and we are proud of this one. The colors played really well with the venue, the natural lighting that day turned out amazing, and adding wood details was just an extra touch to complete the look.

We hope you love this one. Definitely our favorite color combination; sage, lace, gold.

You want to make a STATEMENT with your focal area. This 12’ focal area was hand crafted. Hand drawing the temples, hanging the detailed lanterns, and patiently hand painting the panels. The design stems from our scribbles and stick figure drawings. What’s great about our business is that we cater each setup to your theme, esthetics, and falling in line with budget.

DETAILS 💫 We connected with our friends to supply the missing pieces of our setup; stunning scallop chair and ottomans which perfectly fit the theme. Our friend Ms Kathy delivering the marquee lights and Ms. Poly for her incredible work at name woodcut outs. Lastly, this 2 tier cake that was gifted by Zoe’s Godmother; she made it you guys. Her name is Malou.

Our days are busy but the day of event is even busier. But, that goes back to our business moto. Let us worry about the stress so you may enjoy the process and your event. We have some fun behind the scenes challenges that we will never forget; how our king size bag full of balloons blowing off to our neighbors roof 😅 and how we mistakenly ended up with green round table covers for our rectangle family tables. Ohh the struggles but we survived and how CREATIVE & BRIGHT does this setup look?

•PRINCESS Z O E 7th BIRTHDAY•

ZOE had her eyes set on a Princess Jasmine 7th birthday. From a styling perspective, this theme can be translated in many directions. We know we wanted it to be colorful and kid friendly. We find ways to get creative with our kids event but still elegant and grand for the parents liking.

Our clients did not leave any details out. They definitely gave Zoe and all their guests experiences they will remember and continue to talk about. We definitely had our work cut out for us with outsourcing materials, vendor connections, advance planning, and you name it, it was on our to-do list.

Right from the beginning, we knew we wanted to create a business that would alleviate the stress off the parents so then they will enjoy the process and the day of event. We have truly enjoyed creating this event. It made us cry when our client Ms. Jennie started to cry during the room reveal; tears of fulfillment and joy; to be able to provide experiences that growing up you never got to see.

The space is stunning. It just needed some color, light, and rearranging to give it depth. Our approach, create a setting that is inviting but unique and classic & timeless but still FUN and current. Focusing on layers of lanterns, hurricane vases, and soft touches of LED candles. The fun aspect in monochromatic custom colored balloons to match the company’s logo color, an inviting shimmer wall, and a standout custom LED business sign. It all came together perfectly. With 4months booking well in advance, we had plenty of time to get this styling done timely.

In 2024, Turnagain recently turned 10 years old! Congratulations 🍾 and it is a celebration of a decade of INNOVATION, GROWTH, and RESILIENCE.

A double blessing for first time parents Kimberly & David. We loved working with Kim’s sister Jordan. It has been 12years since I have seen Jordan. During our prime days we lived it up, but those 12years seemed like a blinked of an eye. Our first event for 2025 has truly been special. It allowed me to reconnect with a genuine friend and cherish all the laughs and good times we had. Kim was just about 16 when I met her. Now, she is a successful woman in love and you will be an amazing mama to your twins. A bonus is having 8 sisters to cuddle on them babies.

A message from Jordan, “Char, thank you so much for the event . It turned out beautifully. The parents to be loved it and so did the guests. Great job to you and Conrad. Aside from creating focal and entry displays, I find happiness in preparing the tables cape for the adults and the kids tables. There is something about setting the table ready for each guest; gives off an elegant and personalized touch.

Amazon comes very handy when ordering the proper table wear. Leave it to us to make that decision and less stress on your end. We recently added a new option for our kids setup. While we love our picnic style tables, we added kids chivari chairs in our inventory. Having this add on for the birthday celebrant and friends sets the tone for the event. A space only for the kids to gather and hag out. My kids love having a kids table and so we think many kids will love them too.

How cool did our awnings look? Check out our new sconces and they actually work and light up. Looking forward for our up coming events to add new details to make them unique.

•ISLA’S CUTE-TEA 7th BOBA PART-TEA•

KIDS always knows best. In the case of Isla’s cute-tea 🧋 Boba part-tea, a creative and NEW theme to celebrate her 7th birthday. Idea stem from Isla and mama just went with the flow. Working together with Conrad, we curated a 12’ focal area mimicking a cute little boutique hang out space for Isla and her friends. Created 2 new sets of awnings, added 2 gold sconces, 2 hanging shelves, shiny organic and colorful balloons, and a scallop white chair. It was better than I could have ever sketched on paper. Admiring Conrad’s hard work with ensuring my sketches turned into reality.

Our love for our own kids events is the prime reason why we got into this business. Allow us to share this special moment with you all and we understand this is not for everyone, we are grateful we are able to provide for Isla and all of our guest.

When I’m old, these are the memories that will brighten my day.

•LENNON W I L D ONE• Along with the clients and their family, this setup took us 1.5hrs. That is incredibly fast and even got us excited to finish early. But what you don’t see are the backend hours to prepare for an event: the hours (5hrs) to steam and iron 10 round 120” table covers, organizing and packing items for use, blowing up balloons, wood working, painting, design sketches, and communicating. •ON THIS EPISODE OF T H A I L E R TURNS ONE• With outdoor events, you never know until day of for how weather will cooperate. We were in luck. Clear blue skies and 76degree weather is more than anyone can ask for in Alaska. We did a 25’ span setup and while I can say the heat didn’t defeat us, it sure did defeated/pop some of our balloons.
