"Unravelling," the debut album of Annalisa Tornfelt (Bearfoot, Black Prairie) and the Portland Cello Project's Gideon Freudmann, has music that is both bold and subtle, lighthearted and profound, beautiful and enthralling.

Gideon's a cello wizard; Annalisa's vocals are alluring and her playing on violin, guitar, stroh, and mandolin complement Gideon's highly inventive work. Alaska's landscapes inspired these songs of search, despair and love, and hope- lots of hope!
