I guess this is good bye to this beautiful building downtown!

This building was always a highlight of mine when going downtown to get camera gear at Stewarts Photo, photographing beautiful couples, or Fur Rondy activities! I always hoped that it would reopen and I would get the chance to go in and experience the beautiful artwork, Art Deco, and wonderful craftsmanship put into the details of this building.

At least this building lives on in the many beautiful art pieces and memories we were able to create with the building being a highlight.

Annalyn & Tito were absolutely perfect for a retro session in downtown Anchorage. The historic Fourth Avenue Theatre was the perfect location!

In honor of Mother's Day, I would like to raise a glass of Redbull (my drink of choice) to three beautiful moms in my life who are always there to pick me up when I am down, be my sounding board for my business or motherhood: My best friend, Jadra, my business buddy, Anita, and my friend Ellana. Without these wonderful and Godly women, I don't know where I would be!

What never fails to brighten your day? For me, it’s always my two little girls. I can’t help but feel good when I get to wake up each morning to their snuggles and giggles before starting my day! I have waited for so long to become a Mom, so I am soaking up each beautiful moment!

Happy Nerd Day!

Siobhan and Josh were so much fun and totally embraced making their day their own by incorporating Star Wars details throughout the day. During one of our consultations they asked if they could bring their light sabers to their first look and we couldn’t be more overjoyed to answer YES!!!

Family Session

This beautiful family braved the cold (-15 degrees) to be photographed together for a special celebration. These little ones are getting a brother or sister! To say they are excited would be an understatement!

Infertility Week (April 18-24)

I would be remiss to let this week go by without acknowledging this week.

• 1 in 8 couples have trouble in this area.
• 10 to 15 percent of pregnancies end in miscarriage.

I am one of those many people that had struggled to conceive for YEARS in shameful silence. Feeling like I was broken. A defective woman. Trying everything from natural family planning, hormone pills, injections, and even a failed IVF attempt which I nearly ended up dying from. It is devastating to those that long to be parents.

I want you to know that if you are in this situation, you are not alone. I am no longer silent and if you are struggling, know that you have someone to reach out to.

These are my miracle rainbow babies. My beautiful gifts from God! Proof that blessings can and do come in the darkest of days.
