Our Mission
Here at Dance Driven, we are excited to be entering our 4th season serving the Alaskan dance community. We know that compared to many places in the rest of the United States, Alaska’s dance community does not have the same amount of opportunities. We wanted to change that as much as we could. Providing great quality events, priced for Alaska.
We know there are hard economic times right now, so we have offered many package discounts and done as much as we can do bring you something great at a price that is more affordable. We enjoy providing high quality events and opportunities to our local community. Here is a description of our event types and how you can get involved.
Dance Convention Weekend (Jan 18th,19th, & 20th) - This is to promote a non competitive learning environment for all dancers in the state. A chance to learn from out of state professionals in a stress free environment, a chance to create friendships with more dancers in the Alaskan dance community, and most importantly a chance for everyone to share the passion we enjoy in dance! Be sure to check out our Instructors as they have been great in the industry as both dancers and instructors. If you come to the convention you have the possibility of taking as many as 12 classes in varying styles.
Dance Competition - A chance for friendly competition with out of state judges and a great atmosphere. We like our events to run smooth and on time and our competition will be no exception to this. Along with our Dancer Of The Year awards and judging critiques being recorded, we have a unique way of trying to give you the most that we can.
