It's been feeling more like summer than fall. So it may be hard to look ahead to next summer when we haven't ended this one! But, even with the recent weather, I know many are thinking about Christmas shopping. (GASP!)

With that in mind I wanted to make sure I had our first ever Summer Bouquet Club/CSA available for holiday shopping! If there is a flower lover in your life, or if you're like me and get hit hard by that seasonal depression, having blooms to look forward to next year is a bright ray of joy shining into the trenches of winter.

We are starting with a limited amount of spots for 2025. Hopefully more in the years to come! Details are included on the "shop" page on our site. The shop feature is new so please reach out if you have any issues or questions!

Also, we will have ornaments, wreaths, and evergreen arrangements coming soon! So stay tuned, send me a message if you have any requests, and I'll let you all know when we have holiday products ready to go!

Tulip planting began today! It was a beautiful day to be outside. ☀️
We got about 1,000 tulips planted today. 😳 Am I crazy? Maybe. But honestly I think it still won’t be enough because if there’s anything I’ve learned the last few years, it’s that y’all love your tulips! 🌷
Hopefully these beds have been reinforced enough that we’ll have LOTS of tulips in the spring! As opposed to this year when we had LOTS of eaten bulbs and not enough tulips to share with you. 💐

It happened. The frost has come for the blooms. It’s bittersweet. I love the beauty of the icy tipped petals early in the morning. But it’s sad to see them go. I need the time of rest. But I also fight off winter blues all season without the medicine of getting my hands in the dirt. Luckily, I have plenty of work to do still putting everything to sleep for the winter. Not time to rest quite yet. 😉
Also, we still have dried flower pumpkins available. And we’re working on wreaths, followed by ornaments and other holiday things! So even if the fields are done, we still have fun flower stuff for all the seasons! 😊

I’m still cranking out dried flower pumpkins. Last year everyone went crazy for white. This year everyone’s going for orange. So I got more orange ones coming!

A lot of people ask how long they last. Usually I say until thanksgiving at least. However, a customer recently sent me a picture of hers on her desk from LAST YEAR! 🤯

Stop by and pickup some nature made fall decor for your home. 🍂 All flowers were grown and dried here. And the pumpkins were locally sourced. (We grew a few ourselves too!)

I’ll keep the stand stocked with pumpkins all week but I won’t keep posting everyday. Promise. 😉

At the beginning of the season we dumped a truckload of compost on the grass. As usual, it took me a lot longer to move the compost than anticipated. (Small children problems) So when it was finally clear and we had a big patch of dead lawn there was only one solution. New growing space!
Now that last minute growing space is a few rows of dahlias and celosia and it’s my favorite place this time of year. 😍
Also, we have more heirloom mums bursting open with fall color! So excited for these and the potential that this years experiment success brings to the farm for next year! 👏🏼🥳

Happy Tuesday everyone! Two things. Maybe a bit long. Stick with me…

🎃 Our dried flower pumpkins are on the stand! We will keep creating and stocking the stand everyday with all different shapes, sizes, and colors. The perfect nature made fall decor! Swing by for yours or send me a message for any special requests.

Next up requires a bit of backstory… As a stay at home mom, I depend a lot on free resources for flower farming information and discussion. Luckily, there are so many knowledgeable farmers out there sharing their information to spread the knowledge through the flower community. It’s a wonderful and supportive community focused on the love of it rather than competing for success. And it makes me love flower farming even more.
One of these great farmers is Jessie at Bare Flower Farm. She has a YouTube channel that she invests a ton of time into and it has been a great source of information and inspiration to me. She has even taken the time to discuss some stuff with me individually and helped me successfully crate grow lilies this year.
Recently Jessie entered every parents worst nightmare. Her baby girl was diagnosed with cancer. She has taken on this challenge with the same tenacity she shows in her farming challenges. She has entered her daughter in a cancer research study and has reached out to the flower farming community to help. She’s asking for flower profits this week to be donated to the cancer research. As much as she’s helped me, this is the least I can do. And as a mom, it certainly hits home.
So, I don’t usually put bouquets out during the week. But I’m going to try everyday to get some out there. And every bouquet sale will go to the study. I know it won’t be much, but it’s something. And the link is below to get more information or make a donation yourself!

We did not make bouquets today. I’ve been busy making dried flower pumpkins 🎃
We have a bunch of sizes and colors so I’m trying to get a variety made before I put them out. So stay tuned!
