The first image was captured in my hometown of Andover, MA yesterday afternoon. There are similar photos and videos of this taking place elsewhere all over our country.
While taking a knee is by no means the ultimate answer, it is a hugely important sign and symbolic gesture of acknowledgment that members of law enforcement understand- and will no longer stand- for systemic, racially motivated police brutality. In nearly all cases, the gesture has been followed by cheers, hugs, handshaking and other forms of celebration and thanks from protestors. It’s amazing how something so simple can be so powerful.
While it appears we are devoid of leadership from our public servants on a national level, locally, throughout our country we are seeing anecdotal evidence of leadership from the same public servants whose previous actions have lead us to this pivotal point in our history. We are seeing those who have historically been part of the problem begin to show definitive proof of being willing to play a role in being part of the solution.
Please join me in reposting photos and video of members of law enforcement taking a knee alongside peaceful protestors with the hashtag . It may be a small step, but it is at the very least a small, unified step in the right direction. We ALL- especially those in Washington- need to see more of this. , divided we fail. ✊🏻✊🏽✊🏿☮️❤️

Wishing the Happiest of Birthdays to my dear friend ! 🎂
We first met almost 20 years ago working for (peep pic #3- from 2001 with and Chris as ‘Mojo’ the Monster Jam Monsta).
Since then our friendship has only grown. Chris holds the record for the longest drive to go see a Mic Stylz show...more than once having driven from Arlington, MA to Portland Maine - just to see me rap! 🤯
I’d be hard pressed to think of a more supportive and caring and friend - and I’ve got some super SOLID souls on my side. If I told Chris right now I needed the shirt off his back, he’d drop what he was doing wherever in the world he was and rush it to me. I’m not half the man you are Chris, but because of how much you mean to me, I know I’d do the same for you. I love you my brother. I hope you have an absolutely amazing day! ❤️

Crazy to think it’s been 6 years since I began Mic Stylz Presents: Over The Top Thursdays at the Claddagh Pub...and 300+ Thursdays later: we STILL here. ☘️

There’s no way to possibly tag everyone who’s supported the event over the years, but just know we couldn’t have done it without y’all.
