valid marriage license and 2 witnesses of legal age.

With the Micro Ceremony, you may include up to 4 total guests. Also, if you'd like to read your own vows or you'd like for a standard wedding service, you would choose the Micro Ceremony.

Being "married" doesn't require a lot. Signing your marriage license and returning it, of course, is all you need! You don't NEED to spend thousands of dollars renting an event space, hiring a caterer, hiring a florist, hiring a photographer, etc. That is a WEDDING and even still, those things are not necessary. Some couples may prefer something low-key, simple and sweet and I am here to provide that for you!

*Sign and Go: $100 - Signing of license only. No ceremony. Must have 2 witnesses above the age of 18.

*Micro Ceremony: $130 - Signing of license with small ceremony. I can perform a standard service OR you can read your own vows. This will include the standard "...We are gathered here today" and "..By the power vested in me..." You may include 4 guests total. 2 of those guests must be at least 18 years old to sign as witnesses on your license.

If you're in Wayne County and looking to get married, then you know there is a lengthy process to even obtain your marriage license! Gone are the days of going to the county clerk, obtaining the marriage license and getting married at the courthouse. Blame Covid! 🤷🏽‍♀️ Now, you must schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license, and that appointment CAN be up to 4 weeks out! Annoying, I know, but it is an important step that MUST be completed before making your marriage legal. Getting married requires several steps before saying "I Do" and signing that Dotted Line! Big, expensive weddings aren't for everyone. Some prefer a small, intimate ceremony with close friends and family. Some even prefer no ceremony at all. Whatever you choose is perfectly fine and up to you! There are no wrong answers when it comes to how you, as a COUPLE, decide to say "I Do".

Sign The Dotted Line Elopements, LLC is available for those couples who have their marriage license and require a Minister/Wedding Officiant to sign it, in order to legalize their union! Maybe you're planning a destination wedding and need to actually legalize the marriage in state beforehand. Or maybe you just want to legally marry now and have a bigger wedding later. That is completely up to you!

I currently offer the following packages:

*Sign and Go - $100
*Micro Ceremony - $130

Each package requires that the couple have their valid marriage license in hand and 2 witnesses who are at least 18 years old.

Sign and Go is just that. No vows. No ring exchange. No fluff. Just a signing.

Micro Ceremony allows the couple to have up to 4 guests (2 as witnesses to sign the license as well). The couple have the option to read their own vows or I can perform a standard ceremony and the couple can exchange rings.

Remember, MARRIAGE is for the couple and WEDDINGS are mostly for others!
