In three days, we kick off 2024 with the BROKEN BRANCH SUMMER SERIES: ftg Mustard's Retreat, wsgs Dan Hazlett, and Mia Green

This year, we welcome Mia Green to our festivities!

Mia is a Metro-Detroit based singer-songwriter who finds it more natural to express herself through music than anything else. Over the years she’s written hundreds of songs that illustrate the human condition resonating with raw emotion, introspection, and empathy. Mia is currently in the studio in preparation for a new release.

We are excited to have Dan Hazlett help kick off the Broken Branch Summer Series this year, June 1st!

Dan is an accomplished, polished performer who entertains and uplifts his audiences with a blend of his smooth, soulful voice, his finely honed acoustic guitar work, and his arsenal of well-crafted and thoughtfully presented songs.

Weaving in and out of folk, jazz and a Will Rogers style of down-home humor, Dan captivates his listeners with subject matter ranging from the ordinary silliness of everyday life to the unexpected intensity of dramatic interludes – and always while wearing his signature red high-top sneakers!

Ann Arbor's own, Mustard's Retreat has been delighting audiences by telling stories for 50 years- they are witty, insightful, fun, and profound, as well as accomplished songwriters and musician.0 In addition to being raconteurs and storytellers, they will give you things to laugh about for days to come and remember for years. Tales of stupid frogs, wandering cadavers, haunted bridges and techo-nerds, memories of small towns and high school, first loves and last…and places we’ve been or maybe just dreamed of.
