Our next Designer Series highlights the seasonal and super popular PEONIES specially grown by our Manager and resident farmer, Michael Rodriguez👨🏻‍🌾🌺

Michael has been farming specialty cut flowers at Luella Acres in Dexter for over 10 years. He was actually a flower vendor to the shop before joining the UFS team in 2020! He finds inspiration in the ever-changing landscape of Washtenaw County, where he grew up and currently resides with his wife Leslie and their two children, Louise and Ellery — for whom the farm is named!💕

Michael has chosen to highlight one of the all time favorites of flower lovers and farmers alike, the peony! Peonies need no introduction. Their double flowering splendor is a site to behold in nearly any indoor setting. Choose between a 5 or 10 stem bunch with simple line flower accents — all grown with loving care at Luella Acres! It’s our favorite plum ranunculus🙌🏼🖤 Meet Raani — our newest Valentine’s Day special featuring 10 moody, striking stems of deep purple ranunculus with light greenery. She comes in a small vase or wrapped with craft paper and tied off with a ribbon.

Ranunculus are one of the longer lasting cut flowers. As long as their stems are cut daily and in water, these blooms can pretty up your space for 2-3 weeks! Check out our Valentine’s Day Shop on our website to secure your order ahead of time before the big rush next week!💌🌺❤️
