COVID-19 came up quickly and took our industry by storm. We had to shut down immediately with no clear return to the “business as usual” that other industries are now getting to experience. There are some businesses that have been able to return to a semblance of normal with new adjustments to their procedures. The event industry, however, is being forced to do what we challenge our clients to do on a regular basis: Be inventive and creative. I'm happy to be back and planning events for late summer and early fall this year. I hope that all of the events are able to occur as we slowly move into the future!

I haven't shared a lot about the COVID has effect my business. My husband and I own 3 businesses that are event planning oriented. I'm an event planner, my husband is a DJ and we own a photo booth company too. We're doing okay. The bulk of our summer events were rescheduled so we're taking a minute to enjoy our only summer off for as long as we can remember and spend time with our family.

Billy and Carly were so easy to work with! The groom even took a hit by a drone the photographer was using and literally just brushed it off. I loved some of the details Carly thought of and it was great bringing her vision to life. Her grandfather made the boxes for her centerpieces. No need for a sweetheart table, the couple used a loveseat instead. Now that's a great way to use a loveseat! Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center
