“Having just moved back to Annapolis from LA/SF, this party is a way for me to reconnect with my hometown to bring like-minded people together to celebrate music and dancing, creating a safe space for qu**rs to be themselves,” states party coordinator and DJ, David Richardson.

“Outside was born out of a mutual love for underground dance culture. Our goal is to bring that energy to Annapolis, creating a space that feels inspiring, creative, and inclusive. This event is catered to music lovers who are looking for an intimate space to connect with each other,” says party coordinator Darin Gilliam.

With house party vibes, Outside is a celebration of community and inclusivity, with a strong focus on LGBTQ+ friendliness. Attendees can expect an eclectic mix of hip-hop, house, club, and techno sounds from DJ Face and davOmakesbeats.

We are so happy to have the work of LA based artist Eric Gabouer join our collection here at AND Creative. Eric is a prolific artist and friend who we have been watching for a long time. As a self-taught artists, Eric's work explores themes of identity, music, and inspiration. We are also equally as happy to have our APEX Arts intern John (pictured) with us assisting us in the cataloguing of this work as well as a student focused show coming up in October 👀

Have you checked out our exhibition "This Art is For Sale" in the Martino and Earl galleries? If you haven't, you still have time! The show is up until the end of March and like the title says, the works are for sale! We live by the idea that "Artwork IS Work" and aim to educate the public, galleries, art buyers, and businesses who use art, post art, collect art and benefit from art every single day that being an artist is a real job that deserves real pay…not exposure. The works range from hand built boats to hand-stitched clothing and even a metal casting of hands to hold your ice cream cones!? This exhibit is great for all ages and shouldn't be missed.
