AND Created Opening Reception – Friday, May 16 🎨 6-8pm {AND Creative: 1851 McGuckian Street - Annapolis}

Alison and Darin have spent years dreaming, planning, and postponing the opportunity to focus on their own artwork. This year, they finally committed—and the result is a show that reflects their personal and creative journeys.

Alison’s work highlights the textures and colors found during her travels to Scotland and Sweden. The textures found in nature and dilapidated buildings and artifacts, explore how time and the environment transform places and materials. Darin’s pieces focus on personal reflection, identity, and an exploration of color, while she focuses on bringing her graphic art and painting together with pieces that emphasize texture and layers. Together, our show offers a visual narrative of where we are creatively and personally.

“Flying over Ussy I” and “Flying over Ussy II” are looking for their forever home. Both pieces are impressive in scale (52” x 60”) and are original created by the talented France-based Annapolis artist, Moe Delataire.

“The 2 large figures are from the series: L’art du Nu Français (The art of the French nude).
It was a series of paintings done of several women who worked & lived at the farm where I lived for many years in rural France.
The principal was to pair the beauty of the women with the beauty of the landscape,” states the artist.

It was an easy YES! —— With Alison’s photography expertise and our passion for running creative spaces, this is the ultimate chance to elevate and grow.

🌱 We’ve been inspired by Jen’s vision and business acumen for years, and we’re so excited to keep that spirit alive!
