Having a realistic budget for your wedding dress is important. Our gowns at our Baltimore location have an average range of $1700-$3,000. We do have gowns under $1700, but if you want lace, beading, embellishments, etc… this can increase the price.
If you buy a gown “off the rack” you might save some money but there are some considerations. Purchasing a gown off the rack means it has to be close enough to your size to allow for any alterations that might be needed. Not all gowns can be purchased off the rack. Sometimes there is a “restocking fee” if we need to get that gown back in our inventory.
Your consultant will give you all the information you need when it comes to your budget and make sure you take in consideration any alterations you may need.
At Amanda Ritchey, we respect your budget and select gowns within your range, however, we might need a little flexibility if what you’re asking for doesn’t fall into your price range.
If you fall in love with a dress that is out of your budget, consider the following:
1. This is your DRESS - the most important part of your wedding for most brides
2. You will see this dress pop up in your memories newsfeed every year. Remember how beautiful you felt in “THE ONE” and you will have these pictures in your home forever.
3. The great thing about budgets is, they can be adjusted! Think about other parts of your wedding where you can cut the budget and put towards your dress - do you really need those cookies with your faces on them or the over the top favors that will most likely get thrown away?
