We are catching our breath after the parade. Hope you all had a blast! We did.

One of our partners/floats was the Annapolis High School Marching Band. Please read below. We would like to help their seniors have a safe, alcohol/drug free environment for their post prom breakfast.

The Annapolis High School PTSA Prom Breakfast Committee is requesting financial assistance from ACF to host this year’s PTSA Senior Prom Breakfast. The “breakfast” is a post prom event that provides a fun, safe, alcohol and drug free event for the Annapolis High School Senior Class. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday May 20, 2022 at the Annapolis Bowling Alley from 11:00pm to 2:00am. We anticipate approximately 400 seniors will be attending this wonderful event. Students, many who come from challenging home environments, will be treated to Galaxy Bowling, food, heart pounding music, glow in the dark effects, exciting raffle prizes, and other entertainment – all in a chaperoned setting. The students stay at the “breakfast” until the end of the event. There is no reentry into the event.

The Annapolis High School’s graduating class of 2022 is an impressive group of diverse students who have worked tirelessly to reach this milestone. This year’s graduating class have been robbed of many of the high school growth opportunities and experiences because of the Covid pandemic. We are hoping to inject some normalcy back into their lives by making their prom experience a memorable one. The budget for this event is approximately $8,000. We are requesting that ACF support this effort with a generous $1000 donation.

Regarding the Let's Go Music Festival: Naptown Events is extremely proud of the show that we brought to town last summer. That being said, we and our partners are going in different directions moving forward. We wish them the best of luck with the 2022 Festival and beyond. Arcade Band, a collection of former Weird Science members, and incredible talent, will be playing our Dark Ages party on Feb 5th. These guys will be one of the premier 80’s bands in the area in 2022. We’re lucky to have them!
