We may not be opening doors to our new home by January 1st, but wow, did we come close thanks to your prayer and financial support! The ground for the new home is being excavated, foundation soon to be poured, and when the students of Spring Lake Park High School get back from Christmas Break - preparations will begin to move the house!

Today is the last day of 2024 to consider a square foot donation of $100 and we thank you for doing so before the new year!

Our mission since 2017 has been "to elevate hope for young, single moms and their children in crisis, by providing a safe home and an empowering support system, while each mom learns self-sufficiency and renews, restores, and regains her self-worth through the love of Christ." We have been blessed to work with several mamas since we opened the doors of our first home during the pandemic, and we look forward to opening more doors in 2025 to serve more families in need of His love and our support.

As we head into the New Year, we prepare to accept with open hands and hearts what God has planned for us in 2025. God has given each of us jobs, relationships, friendships, and resources as well as opened opportunities to carry out His kingdom purposes. He didn't place us in our current situation to simply scroll on social media or focus on storing up our own treasures on this Earth. He has called us to so much more.

So today, ask Him to turn your heart toward Him and what He has chosen for you to do in 2025. Seek His help in putting what He desires for your life first - above what you want for yourself in the upcoming year. He will guide you, He will protect you. You simply need ask Him to continue to be present as you live out the calling He's given you for such a time as this.

Merry Christmas and thank you for your continued support and prayer of Elevate Hope House's mission since 2017. We are blessed to be able to support the families that come through our doors and support them in their time of need. Thanks to your generosity, we can share His love with each mama and child, without restrictions, and we look forward to another year ahead as His hands and feet.

We are incredibly blessed by the volunteers that choose to use their gifts and their blessings to provide memory-making experiences for our families. This Christmas we had a house full of people enjoying delicious food thanks to our community.

"Great joy." At Christmastime the mamas past, present, and future of Elevate Hope House sometimes struggle with the concept of joy. Let alone "great joy." With a past filled with struggle and hardships, and family memories often not filled with much joy, these families come to us seeking a new chapter where they pray to find joy and community support. We know that it takes great strength to ask for help, and not every mama that has been alone is fully ready to accept help. Thankfully, many do, and we are blessed to continue to pray for mamas past, present, and future to seek and receive not only help from a community that cares, but also great joy from our Heavenly Father.

After months of prayer and conversation (and more & more prayer!), we are beyond honored to share that we have received a two lot donation from Ham Lake Baptist Camp to expand our ability to build more homes to support young moms and their children experiencing homelessness into the future. Our mylars were officially signed on Monday, December 16th and will go to the County today for filing. God is good. There is still more to do with 2025 fast approaching, and we thank you for your financial and prayer support at this critical time of following where God leads.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

This week of Advent, we reflect on love. John 3:16 reminds us that God loves us so much, He sent His son to save us. His love is an unconditional love - one that we receive freely by simply placing our trust in Him. This kind of love is a love our Elevate mamas often do not know when they start our program. We pray that each of them learn this love through the actions of our staff and volunteers as we continue to grow in relationship with them each day.

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth PEACE, good will toward men." (Luke 2:14)

This Advent Season, we enter the encouragement of God's perfect PEACE. Amidst the hustle and bustle of what often becomes Christmas for many, scripture reminds us that His peace is our's to rest in at any and all times. No matter what we are facing, no matter how difficult the journey may seem, He provides us with His perfect peace.

His peace can be most easily accepted when we have a true relationship with Him. Each staff and volunteer of Elevate Hope House has the opportunity to share his or her faith with our families. Our team strongly believes that for our families to want a relationship with the Father, they must see His hands and feet carried out by the people they meet in our program. Our prayer is that our families will choose a relationship with God - not because they have to, but because they want to. And because they want to accept that "free gift" they will begin to know His perfect peace. Thank you Father, for the gift of Elevate Hope House.

"I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, & in His word I put my HOPE." (Psalms 130:5)
This Advent Season, we start with the meaning of HOPE. Jesus is our hope each and every day. His coming into the world brings hope to a world in need of salvation.
Hope is our secure assurance - a trust placed in a trustworthy God.
He has not failed us in the past, & He won't fail us now.
What He says He will do - He will do.
The first Christmas we received the gift of hope wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. An immeasurable gift. A baby sent to save the world.
For Elevate Hope House, we often see mamas come into our program that have decided they are going to commit to changing their lives because of their children. A child can make all the difference between a "hope-less" life and a life desiring to hope for a future and a new life. A life filled with purpose. These are our opportunities to share His love for our families, and we are thankful to be able to do so each and every day. We are thankful to be part of His plan to share HOPE with the world.
