Shive Music School has a long track record for happy students of all experience levels. As well as strings, I also teach audition prep, TV commercial readhing, and public speaking. I am also a professional musician and vocalist, having performed in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City and around the world on tour with some world famous bands. I have pla

yed or performed live with Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley, Tony Bennett, to name only a few, and played on hundreds of studio recordings, many movie scores, weddings, musicals. For those who know the jazz and fusion world, I have been in the famous bands, Mahavishnu Orchestra as a improvising violinist and singer, and also the Chick Corea Band, doing the same. My students of voice violin and piano have gone on to have professional careers. I also love to teach young and old alike and get great joy from seeing their progress and happiness. My professional performing has been in many genres so I teach all genres. I am teaching on Skype for those who live too far from Anthem, AZ. I am available now to coach and teach nationally and internationally.
