12+ years ago I starting buying flowers for myself through all seasons of singleness and partners and have never looked back. (The truth is men rarely pick the interesting ones anyway🙃)

Grab a friend, partner, WHOEVER and come play with flowers! This year I’m mixing it up a bit and teaching 2 different classes: 1. The classic 2. The fancy girl (for anyone who wants a bigger treat or has already taken the original class and wants something more!)

Galentine’s workshops are my love letter to friendship, creativity and showing up for yourself😘 In the wise words of Charlotte York, maybe friends are our soulmates after all.

Last year, a woman ordered flowers from me for a friend who was dying. “I really want her to be able to look at and smell pretty things for her last days.”

If you know me, you know I threw budget to the wind and packed that arrangement full of the sweetest sights and smells.

As much as flowers are stereotypically sent from men to women, I’ve found that women find the most meaningful occasions to send flowers, friend to friend.

They aren’t just for celebrations. They’re for comfort and showing up physically when you can’t or don’t have the words.

Winter is harsh and dark (and my least favorite time of the year😬). Sometimes the smallest things can make the days feel a little gentler or mean a whole lot.

If you or someone you love could use a little beauty right now, I’m super excited to be back in the studio this week making pretty things.

I am fully aware that I am looking for a unicorn with the nature of the position, but if you’re interested or know someone who might be, please reach out!!

The goal of 2026 is to not turn down daily orders which I do a lot of during busy seasons, especially with weddings. So this person would help me keep daily shop things going while I’m focused on bigger events💛

Anyone who runs their own business knows there is a to do list a mile long at all times floating through your brain and 16 balls you are constantly juggling hoping you don’t drop one😬

I’ve learned for me the only way to completely quiet the noise and let go of the obligation is to turn everything off. Put up the away messages. Empty the cooler. Wash all the buckets and take a longggg breath.

So that’s what I’m doing! I may be on here and I may not! I’ll still be working on behind the scenes things for Golden Flora like updating my website and planning classes, but I won’t be reachable and will be doing everything from the comfort of my couch.

You can still reach out during this time, but just don’t expect a response until the new year🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
